Exam Content OutlineWhat You'll Learn: PMI-RMP Exam Content Outline, Domain by Domain
Our curriculum is mapped directly to PMI's five official risk domains, so every hour you spend studying with us maps to something that's actually tested.
Domain I: Risk Strategy and Planning (~22%) Learn how to build a risk management strategy that aligns with organizational goals, including defining risk appetite, tolerance, and thresholds, setting up governance structures and creating clear escalation paths.
Domain II: Risk Identification (~23%) Master structured techniques for uncovering risks before they surface on their own: brainstorming, Delphi technique, structured interviews, checklists and stakeholder-driven identification methods for both threats and opportunities.
Domain III: Risk Analysis (~23%) Go deep into qualitative and quantitative analysis: probability and impact assessment, Expected Monetary Value (EMV) calculations, sensitivity analysis, decision trees and interpreting Monte Carlo simulation results to prioritize what matters.
Domain IV: Risk Response (~13%) Learn to convert analysis into action by choosing between avoid, mitigate, transfer, accept, exploit, enhance, and share strategies, assigning ownership and calculating contingency and management reserves.
Domain V: Monitor and Close Risks (~19%) Understand how to track residual and secondary risks, run reassessments and audits, report risk status to stakeholders and properly close out risks with documented lessons learned.
